Talking Cute Story . . .

My father has been a Santa for many years, and he has many great moments to speak of.

One that makes us laugh, time and again, came up in conversation at our family gathering this year . . .

So, Santa, was sitting with a quiet little girl of 6 or so on his lap . . .

After several attempts to find out her gift wishes, Santa (Papa) began squirreling a bit - trying not to be distracted, but suddenly uneasy.

The father of the little girl, in attempting to get her to say something on and for the camera - then turns to Santa and says, "Well Santa, since Kylee isn't sure what she wants, why don't you tell us what you'd like for Christmas?"

Without missing a beat my papa Santa blurted out "A dry lap?!"

On camera, perfect timing - and just as funny, little Kylee (with a frowny face) turns to us and says "Me too" in a quiet little shy voice.

Oh my, we all laugh very hard at that one . . .

HA! When my brother was little, my aunt took us to the mall and he was adamant about sitting on Santa's lap. After going through the line and finally getting to sit on his lap, Santa asks, "What would you like for Christmas?"

Without missing a beat, he replied, "I don't celebrate Christmas, I'm Jewish!"
