Default Starbucks!

Ok ... so I know there's "No Place Like Home For the Holidays"... except for Starbucks!!!

I admit I am a Starbucks junkie... I swear I have Coffee running through my veins. I even have a t-shirt that says "Instant Human ... Just add Coffee."

Starbucks is offering a variety of Special Holiday Blends... I have tried them all (Always in Venti Size of course)... So here is what I thought of them.

Peppermint Mocha Twist:

A delcious blend of coffee and mocha chocolate and a hint of strong peppermint. Wonderful with whipcream and chocolate mocha powder.

White Peppermint Mocha Twist:

Same as above but with white choclate instead. The two Mocha's are my favorite.

Egg Nog Latte:

A great blend of coffee with our favorite holiday drink. Nice and creamy. Whipcream and Cinnamon. Not as thick as normal eggnog (which for me is a plus).

Gingersnap Latte:

This is a nice blend of coffee and ginger even complete with whip cream small diced peices of ginger root sprinkled on top... (Though when you reach the bottom you find them and they have softened and are a bit gelatin like.... This was an unplesant suprise for me because I wasn't sure what it was... and I'm one who normally enjoies his coffee down to the last drop.)

Salted Caramel Signature Hot Choclate:

Imagine drinking hot chocolate and having your mouth open as you walk through an area where fresh Caramel Corn is being made. This is a nice blend of Mocha Hot Chocolate with this salted caramel... Which surprisingly isn't bitter like I though it would be. It is a tad dark... so if you like Dark Chocolate and Caramel then you'd probably like this drink.

Spiced Caramel Apple Cider:

This isn't just Seasonal... they have it year round . Not a Coffee Drinker?? Well this might be for you. Its a nice spiced apple cider with a shot of caramel, topped with whipcream, cinnamon, and drizzled with even more caramel. Its a nice drink though I'm not usually a caramel person. Often I ask that they leave the caramel out.

Seasons Drinking!!!

Oh my goodness...I haven't had Starbucks in a looonng time (I don't go off-campus much when I'm at school, and there is definitely not one in my hometown!) and when I do I usually get the same thing: tall caramel macciatto! But I might just have to try the white peppermint mocha twist or the caramel hot chocolate...
Now I'm gonna be looking for a good reason to stop for coffee!

Oh I forgot one ...

Espresso Truffle

For those who like an extra little kick the Espresso Truffle is nice. A rich mocha with that extra boost to get you going in the morning

Also Discovered

Caramel Brulee - delicous but a tad sweet

and

White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha- MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! Rich and Creamy with the right amount of peppermint that just hits the spot! The only words that describe it ... "Christmas in a Cup!" Make mine a Venti please!
